Welcome to my website!

I am a PhD candidate and psychotherapist in training, interested in the way we perceive ourselves and others and interact in the world. I study how developmental contexts, including (early) relationship experiences and trauma, shape self- and interpersonal perceptions and how they may contribute to the development of psychopathology and general health over time (e.g. Kaurin, Krakau et al., 2025, Krakau et al., 2021; Krakau et al., 2025). Moreover, I am interested in the role of trauma and self- other representations in the context of (psychodynamic) psychotherapy process and outcome research (e.g. Krakau et al., 2024; Ernst, ... & Krakau, 2022), which is also the focus of my PhD.

You can also find me on ResearchGate and Google Scholar.
